Rosaceae / Prunus avium – Sweet cherry, wild cherry
Sweet cherry is a big tree from the rose family. This is the tree that produces the well known cherry fruit. The cherries on this set of twigs are unripe and not yet the deep red color that cherries are known for. The birds were one step ahead of me and I guess you’d have a hard time finding a ripe cherry in nature.
